In today's news, ESE, Inc. announced its Aggregator partner Smashwords had recorded the first Apple Books sale of, "Not Far From The Tree." Apple Books is an e-book reading and store application by Apple Inc. for its iOS and macOS operating systems and devices. Apple Books which was formerly named iBooks, has, according to a 2016 Author Earnings Report, 9% share of the eBook market in the U.S. is 9% and 7.5% in the U.K.
"I'm very excited about this purchase because I believe Apple is about to increase its eBook market share following its recent partnership with Oprah Winfrey and her plans to work on a new version of her book club with Apple," said ESE, Inc. CEO Eric Simmons.
