About the Author
Welcome to my “Author’s” website. As an introduction, I am Eric Otis Simmons, a native Arkansan, having been born in Little Rock. Today, I’m the CEO/Owner of ESE, Inc., a website development firm specializing in creating sites for compensation eligible College Athletes, High School Athletes, Authors, Poets, and others seeking to present their “Personal Brand” on the Internet for athletic recruitment, marketing, brand recognition, and related purposes. A former college athlete, I enjoy sports and public speaking. I self-publish under my full name, Eric Otis Simmons, and recently branded my written works as ESETOMES (Eric Simmons Enterprises, Inc. plus the word Tomes, for books in a work of several volumes).
To date, I have I’ve written, and self published four books. My Memoir, “Not Far From The Tree,” has been a multi-time Amazon “Best Seller,” as has my second book, “#HTSP - How to Self-Publish,” which is based on the steps I undertook to write, market, and distribute my Memoir. My third book, “Getting Your Book Into Libraries,” is based on my well-received article, “How To Get Your Book Into Libraries,” which became the top Google search result, out of over 2 billion, on the subject of, “getting your book into libraries.” The work is believed to be the first book written on the topic of how self-published Authors can go about getting their books into libraries. “ESETOMES Box Set” is a digital compilation of my Memoir and #HTSP, as I refer to the book.
In 2018, I began introducing my books to Librarians, and in just over two years, 98 Academic and Public Libraries, including 7 of the Nation’s largest, ordered 126 copies of my books. Amongst my customers are the New York Public Library’s prestigious research arm, the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, and The Royal Library Denmark, which is based in Copenhagen and is the country’s National Library.
My wife Cynthia and I have three adult children, and we reside in metro Atlanta.
I hope you enjoy my website and don’t hesitate to reach out to me should you have questions or if I can be of assistance.
