ESE, Inc. announced today, the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture has placed its previously planned order for “Not Far From The Tree.” The Center is a research library of the New York Public Library (NYPL), the Nation’s 4th largest, and an archive repository for information on people of African descent worldwide. In 1998, the Schomburg Collection was considered as consisting of the rarest, and most useful, Afrocentric artifacts of any public library in the United States. Per Wikipedia, the Collection is the most prestigious for African-American materials in the country. The Center plans to preserve CEO Eric Simmons’ self-published Memoir and make it available for future researchers.
